Lead Facilitator CLASP 2015back to stories

The Anguilla Library Service is looking for a Lead Facilitator for its Children Library Annual Summer Programme (CLASP) from 13th -24th July 2015.

The successful applicant is expected to:
- Lead the planning process for CLASP 2015
- Work within a group context and with young people
- Oversee the successful implementation of a two week camp for approximately Fifty (50) children aged 5 years to 12 years
- Provide support and assistance to group leaders and teams
- Assist in designing appropriate in-class and field activities in timely manner
- Lead the planning of a Closing Presentation highlighting work accomplished during the two-week camp
- Be available up to two weeks prior to the start of the camp for orientation, planning and preparation
- Prepare a report on the camp complete with recommendations on ways of improving the process and the product going forward

Required Qualifications

- Experience working with children ages 5-12
- Experience working in a supervisory post in a camp/group setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team and to work flexibly.
- Experience in creative arts (art & craft, singing, drama & dance)
- Conflict resolution skills
- Good organizational and time management skills

Remuneration
The successful applicant will be paid EC$5,000.
